Construction notes

Features & benefits

Elite Casual Furniture produces commercial aluminum furniture designed for durable performance in commercial environments.

A closer look at four construction details used across the line.

Strap attachment

Vinyl straps use rustproof grommets and a single-wrap, screw-secured frame attachment. The construction supports onsite strap reversal or replacement, helping keep furniture in service without sending it away for repair.

Spun ends

Where possible, Elite Casual closes aluminum tube ends by spinning them rather than fitting nylon caps. The finished end protects the frame and avoids an exposed aluminum edge if a cap comes loose.

Welds

Aluminum joints are cut in a flush “fish mouth” fit before welding. The process uses helia-arc equipment to create full-circumference welds around the frame joint for durability and stability.

Aluminum adjusting plates

Elite Casual lounges use solid aluminum adjusting plates fastened with commercial rivets, in place of nylon plates commonly used to adjust lounge backs.
